Financial Management and Reporting

QPA has two legal names (the recently added Queer Princeton Alumni and the historical The Fund for Reunion Inc.) and is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)3 not for profit charity, EIN 22-2779182. To maintain this designation, the organization annually reports its income and expenses via IRS Form 990. Copies of Form 990 filed with the IRS can be viewed on the IRS site under the Charities and Nonprofits listings.

The organization maintains an operating fund and an endowment fund. The endowment fund is invested in a variety of mutual funds at Vanguard Investments. QPA manages its investments internally. It does not engage any outside investment managers or advisers. The organization's fiscal year aligns with the Princeton University academic year: July 1 to June 30.
